Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will explain the complexities of the Freedom of Information Act and use news stories as examples. Presenters will also explain ways in which citizens could request information at the state level. Presenters hope to raise awareness of national and regional organizations that promote freedom of government information. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience different roles in the FOIA request process. Internet access is recommended for attendees.
