Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Library management systems have changed, moving from integrated to distributed models over the last few years, reflecting changes in philosophy among library staff and patrons.  This presentation explores these changes, as implemented at the University of the Fraser Valley. Among the topics that will be covered: search interfaces shifting from an OPAC to a Discovery Layer Service, system modules rather than system integration, cloud-based systems, and social media features integrated with or connected to the library management system.
